2. What this policy covers

This Privacy Policy applies to:

• The AslanVPN browser extension for Google Chrome and compatible browsers;
• Our website and related pages at aslanvpn.com, including /tariffs.php, /status.php and other API endpoints used by the extension.

By installing or using AslanVPN, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

3. Information we collect

We design AslanVPN to collect only the minimum information necessary to provide the Service, manage subscriptions and prevent abuse. We do not inspect or log your browsing history or the content of traffic that passes through the VPN.

When you install and use the AslanVPN extension, we may process:

• Pseudonymous identifiers:
  • user_id – a hashed or generated identifier for your browser profile;
  • device_id – a second identifier used to distinguish active devices.
• Technical information (stored locally in the browser):
  • whether the VPN is currently enabled or disabled;
  • time and date when trial access started and when it expires;
  • time and date when Premium access is active until.
• Connection information:
  • IP address and basic network information when your browser connects to our servers;
  • limited diagnostic data in case of errors (for example, connection failure or invalid configuration).

3.2. Information collected on the website

When you visit aslanvpn.com, we may collect standard web server logs:

• IP address and approximate location (country/city level);
• browser type and version;
• operating system;
• referring URL;
• date and time of request;
• pages viewed and basic interaction data.

3.3. Payment information

Payments for Premium subscriptions are processed through third-party payment provider YooKassa (ЮKassa). When you make a payment:

• we receive information about the payment status (paid / cancelled / pending);
• we receive a transaction ID and the amount paid;
• we do not receive or store your full card number, CVV, or other complete payment details – they are processed by YooKassa.

3.4. Information you provide voluntarily

When you contact us via email or Telegram, you may voluntarily provide your contact details, screenshots or other information. We use this information only to respond to your request and improve the Service.

4. What we do not collect

AslanVPN follows a strict minimal-data principle. We do not:

• log specific websites you visit;
• log the content of pages, videos or messages you view or send;
• log your search queries in search engines;
• build profiles of your browsing habits for advertising;
• sell your data to third parties.

5. How we use your information

We use the information described above for the following purposes:

• Providing the Service – enabling VPN connectivity, managing proxy configuration and server selection.
• Trial and subscription management – determining whether your 24-hour trial is active and whether Premium access is valid.
• Payment verification – confirming successful payments received from YooKassa and activating or extending your Premium subscription.
• Security and abuse prevention – limiting the number of simultaneous devices, preventing fraud, detecting abnormal or abusive usage.
• Support and communication – responding to your requests to our support team.
• Analytics and improvement – understanding how users interact with the Service in aggregate to fix bugs and improve performance.

6. Legal bases (for users in the EEA / UK)
